Fork In The Road

Paintings from beyond about how the universe works. Original acrylics on canvas by Don Shapiro.

Listen To The Frequency Of The Universe

Listen to the frequency of the universe as it flows through us and connects us with all that is. That frequency exists in the space between atomic particles. It exists in the space where science says nothing can be measured…no matter, no energy, nothing. Within that space, our spirit, our soul, our creator can be found as a vibration, a frequency, a pulse of meaning.

It is a message without words for words are strictly a human invention. These messages flow through my eyes as they see color, light and shadow. These messages flow through my hands as they mix colors and hold the brush to the canvas. My eyes, my hands, my being become an extension of the message that is being expressed from within and beyond.

You may call this frequency by many names or by no name. Spirit, Soul, God or Light may be appropriate terms depending on your personal beliefs. For those less spiritually inclined, you may call this the power of your subconscious mind, gut feelings or inner voice. Whatever your personal beliefs, this is where the messages I hear come from.

They are meant for you but I do not know what they mean for you. That is a personal matter between you and your creator. I just know that when I finish these paintings, I feel a deep sense of connection to all that is and a deep knowing about what is behind all that is. The individual message of each painting is as unique to me as it is to you.

Hi Don. I enjoyed looking at your paintings here. They gave me a peek into who you are, what you think and your passions. Some are clear to me, some not so clear but still intriguing. I believe your paintings are not so much as the viewer’s perception, but just as much as the painters as well.

    I wish you success…I’m sure you’ll find

      Hi Sharon,

You are very perspective. If you’re painting from your heart, then a painting does reflect what is going on inside of you at the moment as well. I can see dramatic differences in what ends up on the canvas based on how I’m feeling and what I’m going through at the moment.

You may notice some paintings seem to contain opposing forces that are ultimately unified by the final elements. That reflects various pushes and pulls inside of myself trying to find resolution.

The total design or effect of the painting does convey a meaning that is unique to you. How these paintings make you feel will be different than how they make someone else feel. A painting is a conversation between the artist, the viewer and the Creator.

      Thanks for commenting.

      Hi Raisa,

This site is hosted by HostICan. I have another website for my book (http://www.lifeisaforkintheroad.com) that is hosted by BlueHost. Both hosting companies are recommended by WordPress at WordPress.org as being especially good at supporting WordPress.

      Good luck to you,

      Don
